Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms apply whenever you book a session, programme or coaching package with The Wellness Education, whether you're a school, a parent, or a family. Please read them before booking. If anything is unclear, contact us before going ahead, we're happy to talk it through.

1. Who We Are

The Wellness Education is a trading name of NB. The Wellness Consultant, company number 11178871, registered office Norwood House, South Kilvington, North Yorkshire, YO7 2NF. In these terms, "we," "us" and "our" refer to The Wellness Education, and "you" refers to the school, parent or family booking a session.

2. Bookings & Enquiries

  • An enquiry made through the website, by email or by phone does not confirm a booking. A booking is only confirmed once we've agreed the date, format and fee in writing (email is sufficient) and, where applicable, received payment or a deposit.

  • For school partnerships, bookings are confirmed with the school's named contact (e.g. Head, bursar, or PSHE/pastoral lead).

  • For family coaching, bookings are confirmed with the parent or guardian making the enquiry.

3. The Free Introductory Offer

  • New school partners may claim one free introductory talk. New families may claim one free discovery call.

  • The offer is limited to one per school and one per family, and is not available to schools or families who have booked with us previously.

  • The offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended at any time without notice.

  • The free introductory talk or discovery call does not commit either party to any further booking.

  • The offer has no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed against a paid session.

4. Fees & Payment

  • Fees for sessions, workshops, coaching packages and partnerships are agreed in writing before booking is confirmed.

  • Invoices are issued for each booking and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.

  • School seminars and workshops: travel is included within a 15 mile radius of YO7 2NF. Travel fees apply beyond this radius and will be agreed in advance.

  • Private family coaching: travel outside North Yorkshire is subject to availability, and fees will apply. These will be agreed in advance.

  • Prices are reviewed periodically and may change for new bookings; the fee agreed at the time of booking will not change for that booking.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

By you (school or family):

  • One-to-one coaching sessions: cancellations made more than 48 hours before a session incur no charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of a session will be charged at 50% of the agreed fee.

  • Workshops and seminars: any changes or cancellations require at least 7 days' notice. Changes or cancellations made within 7 days of the session will be charged at 100% of the agreed fee.

  • Coaching programmes and coaching agreements: 30 days' notice is required to cancel an ongoing coaching programme or coaching agreement. Fees are charged pro-rata, less any work already carried out.

  • We're always happy to discuss rescheduling instead of cancelling where possible.

By us:

  • In the rare event we need to cancel or reschedule (illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control), we'll give as much notice as possible and offer the next available date, or a full refund of any fee already paid for that session.

6. Delivery of Sessions

  • Sessions for schools are delivered on the school's premises unless otherwise agreed, and we work within the school's own safeguarding policies and procedures while on site.

  • Sessions for families may take place at home, online, or a combination, as agreed at booking.

  • We hold a valid DBS check and relevant safeguarding training, details available on request.

  • Materials, handouts and activity resources are provided as part of the session fee unless otherwise stated.

  • Where allergens or dietary requirements are relevant (for example, any tasting or food-handling activity), it is the responsibility of the school or family to inform us in advance of any known allergies or medical conditions.

7. Health Disclaimer

  • We are a Nutrition & Health Coach, not a medical doctor, dietitian, or registered clinician. Our sessions provide general health, nutrition and wellbeing education, they are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

  • Anyone with an existing medical condition, or any concerns about a pupil's or family member's health, should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before acting on general guidance given in a session.

  • We do not provide, prescribe, or recommend specific supplements or medical interventions to individual pupils or children during school sessions.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All materials, presentations, handouts and resources we provide remain our intellectual property, or that of our licensors.

  • Schools and families may use these materials for the internal purposes of the booked session (for example, sharing a handout with pupils or parents who attended), but may not reproduce, resell, or distribute them more widely without our written permission.

9. Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data (such as contact details and, for schools, information about year groups and session content) only as needed to deliver our services.

  • Full details of what we collect and how it's used are set out in our Privacy Policy.

  • We do not sell personal data, and only share it with third parties where necessary to deliver a session (for example, a booking platform) or where required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • We carry professional insurance with Balens Insurance, details available on request.

  • Except where caused by our negligence, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from a session or programme.

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UK law.

11. Complaints

If you're unhappy with any aspect of a session or booking, please contact us directly at natasha@thewellnessconsultant.co.uk so we can put it right. We aim to respond to all complaints within [X working days].

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your booking is the version that applies to that booking.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
